A place for the notes, drafts, and stray thoughts that don’t make it into a novel but are worth keeping anyway — the half-finished scenes, the lines that got cut, and the small observations that eventually become something larger.

Some entries are about the craft itself: what a scene needed, why an ending changed, what got left on the cutting room floor. Others are just about life — the ordinary moments that end up mattering more than they seemed to at the time.
